Serving in the City is central to our membership committment to GIVE, SERVE & LOVE. We're excited to share is many valuable experiences while reaching our community with you. Membership at the City is not required to participate in any of our outreach and worship volunteer positions. If you are willing to offer your gifts and talents, we are glad to welcome you aboard!
SALT- Outreach Ministry
Serving and Learning Together is the outreach ministry of the City. We actively support missions and agencies in our local area. S.A.L.T. sponsor our yearly participation in Operation Christmas Child, Operation Blessing, & Senior Sunday.
SAfety Team
Ministry
Our safety team discreetly ensures that we are safe during worship services. They also assist our technology team by troubleshooting tech issues and ensuring our worship services are increasingly engaging.
Media
Ministry
Our media team includes sound engineers, camera operators, video editing, in-service projection, and the online streaming media team. We use service hosts to create an engaging online ministry experience for our virtual campus.
Health & Welness Ministry
Health and wellness are important in the City. Our health and wellness ministry sponsors Water Wednesdays and congregational participation in Village Heartbeat, an ecumenical effort to encourage health awareness in African American congregations offering fitness options, weightloss support, and healthy eating habits.
Welcome team Ministry
These are the happiest people you'll ever meet! Our Welcome Team greets worshippers each week by assisting with parking, providing assistance with locating the worship sanctuary, assists as ushers with seating, and now helps facilitate worship entry following health protocols for COVID.
Communication
Ministry
Our communications team coordinates our social media posting, text messages, Realm updates, and announcements for our ministry. This team also consists of graphic designers who make the City look good!
